Beware of Dug!

So it's official! I'm not aloud to complain ever again in my life.
Why? because I feel like the luckiest person in the whole, like... since ever!!!
Thank you God, Goddess, eternal Spirit, Buddha, Allah, Jesus, Lao-Zi, Universe, Oprah, everything and everyone!
Because Whether their were forces with or against me, Things played out in such away that provided me such amazing resource's, great opportunities and lovely gifts.
I've been very blessed in my 22 yrs of life. I hope that everyone gets the chance to see one of their dreams become a reality.
Being given the opportunity to Illustrate this book was a dream come true for me.

Dinosaur Song in NY

My animated short Dinosaur Song was apart of the New York International Childrens Film Festival. The film screened in the Shorts for Tots category, an audience of 3 -7 year olds. There was a Q & A at the end. The Kids asked the filmmakers the cutest questions!!! A few of my favorites were "How many colors did you use in your film?" another good one was " Why are there no more dinosaurs? "

Little 4 on the Door

So at the moment I'm a freelance artist/ nanny. I watch a 2 & and a 6 yr old twice a week. Every morning I take the 2yr old Lily, to daycare. Recently the day care lady asked me if i'd paint something on her door. This gig was a lot of fun!!! plus it came with a free meal. The day care lady is Nicaraguan and an incredible cook. That's lily at the door, she's my buddy!!!

B-day gift for my grandma. I was trying to channel an Ezra Jack Keats feel in this collage. Keats is one of my favorite illustrators. His style is so raw, unique, warm , beautiful "i could go on and on".

Look what I Found

I found this Article on Ezra Jack Keats stapled to the inside of his book" A Letter To Amy". I didn't buy the book cause it was in pretty bad shape, but the store owner was kind enough to let me take the article. I'm sorry the articles all cropped off, my scanner is small. The paper is dated March 28, 1974, how cool is that? I think the headline says it all though.
